Summer in Stockholm

Summer in Stockholm. The whole town comes alive. People are more cheerful, more active, lots of activities everywhere. Wife and I prefer the cold. We've never seen anybody who appreciates the sun as much as people here. They go for a stroll, drink coffee, have their meal, party, or just sit around doing nothing under the sun. Back home, we avoid the sun. Over here, people avoid the shade. Maybe after going through a few dark and bitter cold winters, we'll be like the Swedes too.                                   Just graduated from high-school. Around this time every year, thousands of teenagers celebrate end of high-school by hiring trucks like these to go around town with music blasting in the background as they dance, scream, and spray water (or beer) at each other. It's amusing to see these people shaking the trucks violently at every stop. ...
