LUCK
There are two types of luck.
1. You're lucky because good things happen to you all the time. You strike 1st prize in the lottery or Toto. You win a car in a lucky draw. A big boss spotted you and offer you a job with perks you can't refuse. The value of your house increase ten-fold right after you signed the S&P. You go on holiday to Japan, upon touching down at the airport, local tourism officials grandly welcome you and lavish you with gifts and vouchers and pay for your expenses because you are the 10th million visitor for that year. You reserved a deluxe hotel room but got upgraded to Presidential Suite upon checking-in because they overbooked. You are born with good looks and good genes.

2. You're lucky because no bad things happen to you, yet. You got into an accident, but escaped with no injuries. The value of your house dropped right after you signed the S&P with the buyer. The flight which you missed, crashed. Right after you sold your stock at the same price you bought it 2 years ago, the market crashed. You forgot your wedding anniversary, but it's ok because your wife was too occupied with something else too. You managed to slim down after taking Slim 10, other people got liver damage and need transplant. You discovered a defect in the camera you bought within the warranty period. The bank got robbed right after the officer confirmed your deposit into her computer.

The road to Gua Musang is right ahead. Less than 2 km away, I spotted sign to "Gua Musang". Further up front, this sign in red that says... "This road is not yet opened to the public. The Road Works Department will not be responsible for any inconvenience to road users" OK, this means I'm on my own if I decide to explore this. But then again, since when is the JKR responsible for "any" roads. Not as i...
