Tagaytay & MOS - Part II After the volcano, we went to Tagaytay for lunch. This place, Leslie's, comes highly recommended, both by my colleagues, as well as our driver. So we went there to eat. A view OF the restaurant A view FROM the restaurant. It was foggy, can't see the volcano. Otherwise the view will be perfect! A view OF the food we ate "Bulalo" soup. Beef soup. Perfect for such a cool surrounding. A view OF us after the meal, around Leslie's Lunch is over. It's almost 3pm already. Time to head back to Manila for shopping at MOS! (Mall of Asia) On the way down, stopped by to try out local favourite - Buko pie. Coconut pie. My wife said I look like a small kid just been given candy. ehehehehe We reached MOS at around 5.30pm, just in time for sunset. We didn't plan for this, the timing was just right. Tagaytay & MOS We have an itinery full of activities today. First, we're going to see an active volcano for the first time in our life. It's called the Taal volcano. It's the smallest active volcano in The Phillipines. It's located in an island, within a lake, in an island, within a lake, in an island. Hahahaha...look at the map of The Phillipines and try to figure that one out! To get there, we have to drive to Tagaytay, take a boat to the island, then proceed to the volcano. Before setting off, a shot of us together in the room with her b'day cake, card, and rose. Tagaytay is situated about 2 hours away from Manila. For 4000 pesos (ard S$130), we rented a car (Toyota Corolla Altis) with a driver who drives us around the whole day.
