Tagaytay & MOS - Part II

After the volcano, we went to Tagaytay for lunch. This place, Leslie's, comes highly recommended, both by my colleagues, as well as our driver. So we went there to eat.

A view FROM the restaurant. It was foggy, can't see the volcano. Otherwise the view will be perfect!

A view OF the food we ate

"Bulalo" soup. Beef soup. Perfect for such a cool surrounding.

Lunch is over. It's almost 3pm already. Time to head back to Manila for shopping at MOS! (Mall of Asia)

On the way down, stopped by to try out local favourite - Buko pie. Coconut pie.

My wife said I look like a small kid just been given candy. ehehehehe

We reached MOS at around 5.30pm, just in time for sunset. We didn't plan for this, the timing was just right. MOS is situated near the sea, facing west. So, perfect.

In Philippines, the sun goes down at 6pm, so it's completely dark after 6pm. And in the morning, the day is already very bright at 6am.

People here celebrates Halloween, so we fooled around a bit with the 'ghosts' and 'creatures' on sale

We were very tired. So around, 9pm, decided we cannot continue further.
*Ring* *Ring* "Mr Rommel, we're ready to go home"
"Ok, Mr Ping. I'm coming to the main entrance to pick you up now"

On our way back, we indulged ourselves in some ghost stories with our driver. He shared with us where there are ghosts here in Manila. Then, just when we stopped at one of the traffic junctions, we met a "ghost" who knocked on our car window! Gave my wife the scare of her lifetime! LOL
