Congo Grill

Day 2 - 4th ... Stop for a Meal
Hungry uh, hungry uh. By the time we finished all 3 places, it was 2 something in the afternoon. So decided to eat. According to Lonely Planet, it is advisable to pay a bit more to eat at decent places. Eating at streetside stalls is risky business. So we chose this place at Mall of Asia, it's called Congo Grill. You get nice Filipino food, at Singapore hawker center prices.

Grilled Bangus (Milkfish). It doesn't produce any milk. I think it's the color, that's why it's called that. A fish that is native to The Philippines.

Should be able to tell what this is. The difference in Malaysia and Singapore is, we tend to chop them up to smaller pieces. Over in PHI, they sell it in one big piece. Not very healthy. So I didn't eat a lot of this, I swear, dear. I think it's called Lechon

Chicken "Sisig". Minced chicken meat, with mayonaisse and eggs.

A vege dish for Andra.

They don't eat kangkong belacan over there, so we tried their way of cooking, with garlic.

Same bangus fish. Just flipped it after SeetHong finished eating one side of it.

You can either order plain white rice, or Garlic Rice (lighter color) and Java Rice (yellow) to go with your dishes.

Halo-Halo!! Local dessert. I love this.

The gang enjoying the meal.

Oi...eat so much, remember we still got this back in the apartment uh

After such heavy meal, someone went back and cooked this. Wasn't me
