Solen skiner - Enjoying the sun

After experiencing coldness for the past 5 months, we're finally getting some warmth. The day is getting longer too. There're a couple of times when I woke up thinking I'm late for work because the sun is already shining brightly through the window at around 5am. And at night, we sometimes forget that it's already late because there's still light outside. It doesn't get completely dark until around 10pm. Nobody is complaining, we can see the Swedes love the sun. So many people out walking, enjoying their meals at various roadside cafe, sitting around basking in the sun along the waterways, and generally wearing very little...   We too enjoy eating at roadside cafe.   And people-watch at the same time....       There's some sort of parade today by one of the universities in Stockholm. Yen Can Cook 080509 - Guo Tie

Mrs Tang is very adventurous today. She's been planning to make Guo Tie for the past few days. I first spied some minced meat inside the fridge when I covertly tried to take a few scoops of ice creams. Then she's been spotted playing with tissue papers. Practising pleating the dough, she says. Kind of like brain surgeon practising before opening up a patient's skull for real. Only this is tougher, according to her. So today she's finally ready for the real thing.
