She cheated.......... Laksa Drottningsholm

Image
My wife cheated on me today. She made laksa and gave me the impression that she made it all herself. Turns out, she found this ready-to-cook pre-mix laksa paste at the asian shop. Just had to add noodles or meehoon, fishcakes and other ingredients. But since it is soooo good, I forgive her. My Bread story - when there's some more curry left, use bread to soak it all up. Yuuummmss. My wife explains, in a deadpan manner: "Sometimes in life we need to take shortcut. Especially when the shortcut leads to something that taste so good". After laksa brunch, we went to Drottningsholm Palace for a walk. Eating ice cream in cold weather. Shiok! We have clear blue sky today but the trees are not that beautiful yet, just coming out of winter. We'll come back again in summer. A lot of people brought their dogs here to let them "socialise" with each other. Feels happy looking at dogs running around freely, making new do...

Sashimi, Mochi, Caviar, Rambutan & Gossip

Wife decided to make japanese dinner today. Garlic Fried Rice Potato Salad And how can a japanese meal be complete without sushi or sashimi. So we bought fresh salmon and sashimi-ed it. Our knife wasn't sharp enough and we have no skills. First time doing this. And she tried to make mochi. Her "spaceship" mochi Went shopping for groceries the other day and saw caviar. Not sure how to eat this, so didn't get it. All this while we thought caviar is rich man's food. But over here, easily available in supermarket. Also saw rambutan for sale. At 129 kr per kilo, truly a rich man's fruit. And this shop was closed when we walked pass. Do they sell gossips? Some of the food we ate when I manage to persuade my wife to rest, don't feel pressured to make nice dinner for us at home.
