This week we celebrate the birth of my brother and his wife's first child, daughter Shay Yen. Our niece, their 2.71kg bundle of joy is also our parent's first grandchild. My wife and I are very happy and excited for them. It feels different now that there's another generation after us. Wife and I are still behaving like kids most of the time, fooling around, playing. I told her the other day, we're now officially Uncle and Aunty.
To protect her identity and preserve her privacy, we had to make her slightly unrecognizable. It's essential, in case paparazzi decide to shift their attention away from Suri Cruise to our niece instead. :P |
Wife and I were discussing about food the other day. She decided to make something "western". Looks good, taste ok, but after the meal, decided Asian food is better. |
On the eve of Easter Holiday, our intimate moments were briefly interrupted by 2 "witches" knocking on our door. It was the Eriksson kids, all dressed up and made up to look like witch. They wished us "Happy Easter" and then waited with big smile on their tiny cute face.... Wife and I looked at each other and discussed in our language on what we have to do now. She said it may be something like Halloween's trick or treat where we're supposed to give them candy. I looked at the kids, each of them carrying a basket, filled with candies. So I took out my own secret stash, well hidden from my wife, until now. Darn kids. In return, we get a hand-drawn card. Afterwards, we googled "Easter in Sweden" to find out what it's all about. This whole thing is so cute and funny, we wish we're kids again. |
